Conducting active research for an upcoming publication, your intrepid traveler embarked on an epic road trip across this great continent through the mountain West from June 30 through July 16. Nine states outside Texas comprised the list, and 4,846 miles spun the odometer. I’m writing Journal of a Festival Camper, and this trek provided stories about a Rainbow Gathering and the Oregon Country Fair.
