Circus

Friday, June 25 – only six more shopping months till Xmas

After a day of blog catch-up and domesticity, we headed to Tackley, about half an hour east. Here, on the village green, performed the Giffords Circus, a regional-only troupe based in the Cotswolds.

Just fabulous. A pint afterwards at the Gardiner Arms topped off the evening.

That night, we treated Louisa to her first viewing of The Wicker Man.

Totally charming, warm, inviting. Wish I might have seen the performers perform. I’ll want to hear all about this circus. Somehow I feel you’re in a time warp. Do you feel like that at all?
